First time for everything

it
On Feb. 5 we had a Ladies Tea for Pang. The first
wedding shower ever here in Chiang Klang!! It was a
great success. Brenda had the great idea of making
the theme "Music in your heart." Many of the ladies
shared special stories and encouragement on how to be
a godly wife and honor God in this new role as
husband and wife. A bid gap is missing in the
society. When young Christians get married they
rarely have Christian families to look up to or other
married role models. Blake and I are excited that we
have the opportunity to be such good friends with
both the bride and groom. Our bride to be is the one
sitting on the couch reading the wedding magazine:
We gave Pang a Hmong and Thai Bible:
We prayed over her and her husband to be, Toi:
and we ate really good food:
As I rode around the villages and picked up some of the ladies they were just jittery with excitement. Asking me all kinds of questions about this special "ladies tea" for the bride. Pray for the young Christian marriages and that they would look to God for guidance and strength.
