Happy Easter

He is
risen! Hallelujah!!
Our sunrise service began at 5:30 am. For once all the children were huddled in their mothers laps. . .even Aleah for about 5 minutes! We sang praises as the sun began to light the sky. The sun was a big fiery red ball. Tis the season for burning - during this part of the year farmers burn their fields off and it leaves the sky full of smoke so the sun is beautiful every evening and morning.
The eggs were hidden before the service began so once Aleah discovered there were "balls" all over the yard she preferred to ramble around outside. Eventually the other kids started running around and joined her. Our attempts to keep them quarantined on the porch was not very successful. Then before I knew what was happening the service ended and everyone ran from the church to find eggs.
Aleah was done with her egg finding by this time so she took towards the road and wanted nothing else to do with those funny looking "balls"
Going, Going. .
GONE!!
Around 7:30 am we started to eat . . .your guess is a good as mine as to what half of this stuff is
I nibbled on a little bit of this and that, but I just wasn't ready to eat such "rich" foods at 7:30 in the morning!
